Andy King is a digital media artist and researcher whose satirical and political works focus on internet subcultures and themes of loneliness and human relationships in a digital age. As part of the first generation which experienced popular culture through the internet, she is interested in the blurring of differences between truth and fiction, copy and original, private and public spaces.
Based in Berlin, her process is built on the repetition of finding, copying, printing, manipulating and photographing — mimicking the way information is mass-produced and distorted.
As creative director at Brumaire Verlag, her design work for Jacobin magazine twice won the European Magazine of the Year award in the design category Politics & Society, as well as the German Design Award 2026.
